The free price comparison tool Pricepirates searches the world's largest product catalog, including more than 95 percent of the top 300 merchants in the U.S., the majority of the leading merchants in the U.K. and thousands of online stores in Germany and eBay in up to 13 countries for product prices. It generates online and in real time comprehensive lists with prices which can be selected and sorted using a range of criteria. A mouse click opens a new browser window with the corresponding online store or eBay auction page. The user can add auctions to a watch list to observe objects of interest and if the user wishes to, he can even set the program to send an SMS as a reminder when the auctions is about to end. An ingenious integrated statistics function allows a detailed analysis of price developments for single products in online auctions. Pricepirates is optimized for Buyertools Reminder: an interface allows bidding on eBay and even setting up Reminder autobidding tasks straight out of the program.
